We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Floyd River Trail yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Floyd River Trail
“The views of the Floyd River and Natural Habitat are beautiful.”
Flat trail with good scenery, a little buggy in the fall, but a little bug spray solves the bug problem. The views of the Floyd River and Natural Habitat are beautiful. An evening walk soaks up the sunset.
Took my dogs on a walk in the evening. Love that they have doggie bags available on the trail. Very well kept area.
Really nice trail to walk, run or ride your bike on. I have never seen it crowded but I have seen quite a few people on it. It is a very long trail and at least 6 feet wide so pretty easy to social distance on it.
Easy, wide sidewalk paved trail. Great for walking, running, and biking. Walk along the river and al the way north to Leeds.
