This hiking trail is most definitely a beautiful trial to stop by in hike. Bring the appropriate shoe wear and equipment with water. The hike it self is very rewarding as you get to see the city of Las Vegas, NV from a valley view at the top of the mountains!
Steep and somewhat challenging hike but also one of the very best in the Vegas area imo. You're not only rewarded with epic views of Vegas from the summit but also incredibly picturesque sights the entire way.
The hike up wasn't as bad as I had expected. This is definitely not an easy hike due to the steepness (2000' gain in 2 miles) or the loose rocky trail, but I'm a 50-something clinically overweight specimen who made it up in 90 minutes and down in 40.
This is a very difficult hike with steep inclines and loose rocks and gravel but boyyyy is it worth it. Make sure you wear good shoes with grip or bring hiking sticks. It's a fabulous leg workout going up but it's just as steep going down too so be careful. The view of Vegas is phenomenal
