Confirmed from Fritchie Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Tree-filled space with baseball & softball diamonds, plus trails, a playground & a pavilion.
What runners say about Fritchie Park
“Good size, has agility components, washing station and plenty of shade.”
Stopped here for a round of disc golf. I initially hated it and then fell in love with it. Really tight, but short shots in the front 9. Walk each hole before you throw. It can be a little confusing. The numbering of baskets was off by 1 and they were not placed as udisc showed.
First time to the dog park there and Bleu had a great time. Good size, has agility components, washing station and plenty of shade. May need to wait a few days after a rain until they fill a few low spots. Or just hose down Phideaux on the way out.
Large-ish park and ballfields. Overall good dog park area....kinda muddy/clay in some spots. Nice perimeter to walk...where the Frisbee golf sites are.

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
