Confirmed from Hidden Acres Nature Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Pretty park featuring boardwalks leading to gazebos, a lake, pavilions, and picnic tables for fishing, hiking, and relaxing.
What runners say about Hidden Acres Nature Preserve

“It's not too far from where I live, and I just needed a quiet moment to myself and I definitely don't regret finding this hidden gem”
This park isn't as big as some of the others in the area but offers a nice walking trail around a small lake, maybe half a mile around. There are 3 boardwalks leading to gazebos on the water, and a picnic pavilion. Fishing is permitted and you'll see turtles. Like, everywhere.
My husband and I went for an evening walk here, it's quiet and serene with unpaved trails. Great place to watch bats and just enjoy nature.
My family and I are new to the Stone Mountain area. I came across this Hidden treasure when I was running errands. We have been here on several occasions. We love feeding the fishes and the open space.
This is one of Georgia’s hidden jewels. It is so breathtaking and tranquil. I totally love this place.🎤 A little music and some walking shoes is all that you need to add for a perfect adventure.
