The paved trail is handicap friendly, as is the parking lot with nothing but 3 handicap parking spots. If you are not handicap, however, you're supposed to park near the historical house, and walk up the steep hill. This is such a cute, small area with a curvy, paved trail leading up to the viewpoint.
It is a steep short walk on the way up to the loop trail where the water tower is but it is definitely worth it. The veiw is amazing. You can see Mt Hood, Mt St Helen's and several more. The loop trail at top has some picnic tables to eat lunch or just have a seat and take in the veiw.
The climb to the top is paved but VERY steep. There is ADA parking at the top but otherwise you have to make the climb to see the sights.
Nice little park.. great get away for a lunch. The walk is a bit steep but fairly short. Fantastic views of surrounding areas and mountains.
