This is a very well maintained and absolutely beautiful park with walking trails and small bridges! It is definitely a must see if you are looking for a nice stroll through the trees!
Clean, easy paved walk and flat bridges, spaced benches, lots of shade, dog friendly. Parking, playground, picnic area all on south end. Path north crosses road to connect with Nelson Park, which also has parking and picnic tables.
Beautiful park, lots of pathways, so you can have a different walk every time if you like.
This park has history: The dams were built to run the saw mill which was once located between city hall and Mountain Town Station Restaurant and Brewery. It also provided electric. I have lived in Mount Pleasant for 4 years and have witness that change of the vegetation. This park has three main entrance with parking.
