Confirmed from Mill Pond Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

★★★★★ — Haley , Jun 2023

Clean, easy paved walk and flat bridges, spaced benches, lots of shade, dog friendly. Parking, playground, picnic area all on south end. Path north crosses road to connect with Nelson Park, which also has parking and picnic tables.

★★★★☆ — Marian , Jul 2025

Beautiful park, lots of pathways, so you can have a different walk every time if you like.

★★★★★ — Brian , Mar 2024

This park has history: The dams were built to run the saw mill which was once located between city hall and Mountain Town Station Restaurant and Brewery. It also provided electric. I have lived in Mount Pleasant for 4 years and have witness that change of the vegetation. This park has three main entrance with parking.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
