Confirmed from Jonathan Eshenour Memorial Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park offering trails for walking and biking, plus a pond and a farm.
What runners say about Jonathan Eshenour Memorial Trail
“My family and i went here to escape our homes from quarantine and we were met by other family doing the same it was a beautiful trail”
“This is a great path for walking, biking, & running around the area.”
This trail has like a focal point where it splits three ways. One takes you high enough to see the highway, then through farm land. One takes you along the main road and hospital. Last takes you through the woods. All points come to an end, there is no loop. You can walk, run, or bike.
Probably the most popular and well known trail in the area, it gets lots of traffic , but it is paved And covers a lot of miles. It’s a nice trail to take the kids out on, and it’s also nice if you commute around the area. It keeps you out of traffic and provides direct routes to major locations
We LOVE this trail! It's right by the road so you don't feel too secluded but the trees give it a good nature feel for a walk, run, biking time. Go right before sunset on the corn field side and I promise you won't be dissapointed with the view!
I loved this trail. Went for a run here out in to penn state campus and it was amazing. Pretty flat not a ton of hills. I also appreciate how safe it feels. Wherever you go you aren’t far from the road. It’s very scenic and I loved the pond area. It’s a great place to hang out, go for a run or walk and feel safe.
