Confirmed from Lorance Creek Natural Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 3 mentions

“We definitely recommend you take a few minutes and check out this beautiful swap.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 10 mentions

“I mean, like others have said, it's short and I do recommend but spray but it's quiet and pretty.”

Very quiet, easy trail that leads to a peaceful boardwalk. It was lovely in the snow.

★★★★★ — Beth , Feb 2021

It's interesting that we have wetlands in the Little Rock area that I see while driving on bridges over them but I haven't been to close to them or know much about them. This is a fun experience because in a short amount of time and distance you find a place that is very different.

★★★★★ — Chad , Feb 2020

It's quite isolated and quiet. I had the feeling that if I stood still for a while I'd see some native critters. Very relaxing. Only a short walk, but a pleasant one. Wish the city would extend it

★★★★☆ — Trey , Nov 2019

This is a nice little walk that goes out in a little swamp or wetland ( whatever you'd like to call it ) The trail is about a 1/2 mile round trip. The trail is paved until you get to a boardwalk that goes out into the swamp.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
