Confirmed from Lower Bull Creek Greenbelt's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring hiking trails, grottos, and springs, plus a waterfall.
What runners say about Lower Bull Creek Greenbelt
“If I had to describe this place with one word, it would be this: “picturesque” This review is for part of the trail in the Lower Bull Creek Greenbelt.”
Hidden gem, if you know what you’re looking for. My wife and I recently took our kids here. Small parking area, but we got there early and scored a spot. A quick walk gets you to the trails and what is left of the water. Sad that it’s mostly dried up right now. We hikes down quite a ways and found some stunning views.
Great place to escape without going far. You can hike trails on either side of the creek and there are grottos and springs in different areas. The water levels can fluctuate quite a bit depending on recent rains.
This is amazing! Truly...I didn't even know that this place existed until just recently. It's now one of my favorite hiking spots. If you'd like to check out a beautiful nature hike in Austin...here you go.
Really enjoyed the fresh air nice breeze. This is a beautiful peaceful spot. You walk, run,or just sit near the water. A very kid friendly place 😍
