Confirmed from Marsh Edge Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Hiker-friendly, 1/3-mile preserve with boardwalk, woods and marshes for birds and osprey watching.

Pleasant walk of 1/3 mile on good trail through woodland and along marshland. Pick up the brochure with the interpretive information before you start. Covered picnic area and outhouse available.
Me and my wife had a lovely walk here. It is a paved path but uneven in some spots. Great views from the boardwalk!
The paved trail is a little uneven in spots and there isn't a public restroom but it's Beautiful and interesting! There is a map at the entrance and easily found markers along the trail which are explained in a pamphlet and map you can pick up at the entrance.
Beautiful walk with amazing scenery. Saw lots of birds, you get very close to the water, and have a unique view and perspective of the extent of Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge.
