Confirmed from McGriff Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with a soccer field, a playground, and a pirate ship playset, plus a track and picnic tables.
What runners say about McGriff Park
“Great views of the mountains, easy access to the canal walk way and a fun little play ground for kids”
“Kids love the pirate ship playset and my teenagers love the gaga ball pit Lots of convenient benches scattered about with choices under shade or bear the playground.”
This is a great park! They have a walking track, and they just added this cute playground! My child loves it. They are still doing some landscaping etc., but it's already a great little park.
Grass is always long on the game field. Restrooms are next to the Bowery. Bowery has lights, but the city turns them on. Limited electricity is available. Playground is available for small children. Walking and bike path are available about the playing field. Playing field doubles as an overflow holding area.
Great young playland, picnic pavilion to eat at. Walk7nf paths on the top hill with a amphitheater to enjoy
Very nice park with new landscaping and playground equipment. Swings: Two for children and two toddler-style. Trees for shade. Benches. Bowery can be rented. Restrooms were available on a Sunday afternoon.
