Confirmed from Oaklawn Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring a stream, a playground and baseball fields.
What runners say about Oaklawn Park
“There are 3 well maintained ball fields and a fun little playground for the kids.”
“Oakland Park is still as beautiful as it was 40 years ago when I played little League football, but now it has very nice restrooms and picnic area's.”
“This is a solid park: play area for the kids, lots of fields for big games and running, and a shaded grill/picnic table area on the wooded north side.”
“Nice and tucked away, quiet neighborhood, beautiful view and the mountain is freaking huge right there!”
Great Park to take little kids because of the playground, teenagers because of the open space to run around or the multiple options for seeding, and adults because this is really just a great perk. Two baseball diamonds one football field and lots of open space, completely surrounded by trees.
Words can't adequately describe just how awesome this place is. It has the world's greatest wooded picnic area with a stream running past it, two bridges to run across (very handy to keep little feet dry), kids playground equipment, and beautiful playing fields for sports.
This is a nice park with a wooded walking trail. There are baseball fields and a playground with public bathrooms. The wooded trail reminds me of my past life in the Midwest. Maybe that's why I enjoy it so much.
Great park for alone time. Lots of trails surprisingly packed into a small wooded space. Late 2022 author of the wooded area is overlooked by new homes with backyards that back up to the park.
