Confirmed from Pleasant View Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Pleasant View Trailhead

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (55 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 7 mentions

“The view is simply stunning and the higher you go, the more it opens up and because of the direction of the sun it was possible to see as far as Ogden, maybe even further.”

Great trail but may need to check your map to not be led astray by the roads and crossing trails. You can go from pleasant view all the way to mt. Ogden uninterrupted with connections to Ben Lomand, Lewis peak Indian trail Malians peak.

A good place to get on the trail. Plenty of parking. Great bike trails.

★★★★☆ — Mike , May 2022

Visit the pleasant view trailhead on Mar 13 2024 and it was a great hike! We came in the early morning and the sun was still behind the mountain so it was quite cool. Most of the route is moderately uphill, yet the walk is relatively easy and it also helped us to warm up.

★★★★★ — Michael , Mar 2024

Pleasant View Trailhead is a great place for biking, hiking, and trail running. Now, I wouldn't travel to hit any of these trails, but they are amazing as a local, convenient excursion.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🏞️ Scenic views 20 mentions

“Easy access to an area with many birds and wildlife with beautiful views of the valley and northern Wasatch.”
