Confirmed from McMaster Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
City park with lots of facilities such as ball fields, basketball courts & a playground.

McMaster Park in Torrance is a nice neighborhood park that serves the community well. It’s a clean and welcoming place where families, kids, and local residents can spend time outdoors. The playground area is great for children, giving them a safe space to play, stay active, and interact with other kids.
Torrance has a lot of parks, and this is a pretty good one. There is a play structure, plenty of open field space, a baseball diamond, a basketball court, shaded picnic area with grills, and bathrooms. There are not many water fountains, and there parking is somewhat limited.
Beautiful park. There's a playground, plenty of picnic tables, a field for sports, and bathrooms. The bathrooms are all the way in the back however which kind of sucks if you really have to 'go.' Overall the park is very clean and the grass is so lush and healthy.
the playground is small and has a firefighter theme, there’s a big field and a few picnic tables. it’d be cool if there was a walking path along the field.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
