A beautiful and well-marked trail. We took the trail to the left that was 2 miles one-way, Rattlesnake trail I think. Lots of switchbacks but a very beautiful and pleasant hike! Lots of dogs, we went on an odd day so they were off-leash mostly. There are restrooms at the trailhead. Highly recommend!
Pretty trail, but a lot of walking and switch backs to get to the pay off of the valley and city skyline views. There are gorgeous views of Mountain Olympus and The Olympus Cove neighborhood.
Pipeline trail connects to other trails. We didn’t have signal so we didn’t scope out the trail correctly. I would have skipped this section (1.6 mile) and went straight to the actual peak (~4 miles one way). We started at 4:30pm and then got back out by 8:30pm. Pipeline is fine for a feeder and ride your bike.
Beautiful, scenic trek just outside of Salt Lake. You could go there 50 times and do something new each time. Watch out for bikers on even number days! $5 to get in (pay on your way out) The park is open 24/7, and free entry after hours. Definitely a fun place to explore at night!
