Confirmed from Neffs Canyon's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Such a beautiful hike. It was so much fun with the family and dogs. The views and water on this hike was beautiful as well. We will be doing this hike more often. I would recommend going in early afternoon on a weekday, though.

Great high control that accommodates all skill levels. You can take the easy trail, follow the river or you can go straight up out and if you want to! Great place for kids, love the stream! Beautiful views. Great place to take your dogs as well!

Love. Beautiful place. I go sledding with my 2 kids and dog. Love the trails. Loose dogs everywhere including mine. Kind owner and people. One thing I dislike is the dog poop are sometimes everywhere. As a dog owner I always pick after my dog. I have kids so it's a must not a maybe.

★★★★☆ — Jennifer , Apr 2019

Very beautiful stream and has somewhere to sit down and chill at the very top. The weather was nice today. Cool breeze with just enough sun to keep you cozy :) it's a bit steep at first, but there will be a little bank up the stream. From there it's cruising.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

“After 5pm it got really busy and with so many cars in the parking lot, people were forced to create their own parking area which caused us to be blocked in.”

  • At the trailheadparking — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
