Confirmed from Mount Apatite's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Kid-friendly park featuring nature trails, a quarry, and opportunities for rock collecting.
What runners say about Mount Apatite
“The hike is beautiful and peaceful but definitely take a photo of your map and pay attention to your route if you don't want to get too turned around.”
“A one being a relatively easy to navigate trial with little to no elevation.”
This is a great multi use park with a wilderness feel literally five minutes off the highway. Rock collecting is fun (But hard work to find the good stuff). The real fun is the challenging and scenic trails for both pedestrians and mountain bikers. Park is dog friendly and good for supervised kids.
Nice trail ! It has a little bit of everything. There were a few spots were the ground was mushy due to snow melting, but the rest of it was fantastic. A lot of peaks and valleys. There a few wooden benches scattered throughout the blue trail.
Was exactly what we expected. Gorgeous hike, cool rocks, amazing people. Very friendly trail. Wl no doubt go again.
Great place to walk. Good place if your interested in Quarts rocks. This is the place for you. But not much luck in other kinds of rock. There is also 2 different entrance to this place. Pretty good marked trail also. Plenty of parking
