This is a great family park to get out on the water. Theres a long enough beach area where you can find a nice space , plenty of parking, very nice changing area, bathroom and rinse station. The boat launch is also very accessible. In addition to all of this there are hiking trails and plenty of shade.

Beautiful little State Park only 12 miles away from Freeport Maine beautiful white sand beaches multiple beaches great hiking trails nice biking trail plenty of parking also has buildings for restrooms and changing the day we were there there was also a food truck parked in the parking lot providing snacks
I was staying with my brother in Lewiston and this park was nearby. That a gem! The lake was clean and beautiful and warm enough for swimming. There is a lovely hiking trail and pine forrests around the lake. The facilities were good enough, including a bathhouse, playgrounds, and plenty of picnic tables.
