Confirmed from Nature Trails Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Nature Trails Park
“The park is well-maintained and features natural vegetation.”
“Beautiful, quiet, even, trail for a 10 minute stroll.”
“It is a very nice, quiet park with a main circular trail and some offshoots.”
This is a pleasant easy loop through the forest/wetland. It is about 500 meters and is mostly crushed gravel and packed soil surface. Parking enough for four vehicles.
Absolutely beautiful beach, great views. A bit of a steep walk, walking back up to your car can be tough if you don't hike much. I loved it. Beautiful view of the mountains if it's a clear day. Great place to walk your dog too.
Beautiful, quiet, even, trail for a 10 minute stroll. Would work well for little ones as well as older people who may use walking assistance devices.
It is a very nice, quiet park with a main circular trail and some offshoots. It is never crowded; most people are single adult walkers, or with a dog or a child. The trees and foliage are so dense that you can forget that are just a few steps off a residential neighborhood. There is a small parking lot.
Trail conditions & character
“You can smell the pungent Skunk Cabbage ,(Lysichiton americus), and view its lovely yellow flowers in the spring.”
“Parking lot, porta-potty, clean area, lots of birds, benches to sit on at various locations.”
