Confirmed from Nordic Skiing and Hiking Trails' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Popular place for hiking and cross-country skiing with multiple trails for varying difficulty levels.

Updated, Memorial Day '23. Honeysuckle and poppy's in bloom. Trails were full of sweet vanilla scent! Excellent hiking for 3 seasons. Great trail options with varying scenery from pines to prairies to undulating hardwood forest. Multiple loops allow for distances from 1 to 9+ miles.
Well maintained, quiet, and versatile. There are so many different trail options to take for anything from a leisurely stroll to a challenging hike. The trails are nice and wide and there are sturdy benches placed along all of trails with clear trail markings and maps everywhere.
Well maintained and well travelled trail system. Outer loop maxes out at around 9 miles. Multiple shorter inner loops. Some flat sections through pine forests and open meadows but mostly hilly. Very well marked. Various trail types: typical hard packed dirt through flat forest sections, rocky hills, grassy meadows.
This was a great place to hike and it was a beautiful day, too. This was our first time on the Nordic trails side of Hwy H and it was worth the trip. We decided to do the outside loop, and that was a 9 mile trek.
