Confirmed from Orangeburg Recreational Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Orangeburg Recreational Park
“The ONLY reason that I have not given 5 stars is for the simple reason the bathrooms are not well maintained.”
“Beautiful park, nice big and lots of walking areas.”
This is a very nice baseball park. They have probably 10 fields batting cages and also a nice walking path.
The Orangeburg Recreational Park is one of the places that the local government has invested well in. It is spacious, nice, secure, and perfect for taking walks in. There are long walkways you can walk, run, bike, skate, or do whatever else on!
A great place to watch the games, however they don't allow much in the way of a picnic area and that's unfortunate, the facility provides only cold food and candy, traveling to the facility you have to stop for food, and this can be right from work...you can't even get a hot dog ...
Beautiful park, nice big and lots of walking areas. Surprisingly it was very vacant on a Saturday.
