What runners say about Ortega Trail
Clearly marked, paved gravel and single track trails wind up to mountaintop views, and down into a tiny creek. Oak and grassland and coyote brush. There were footprints and mountain bike tire tracks, but I did not see another hiker during the hours I spent exploring.
Loved the trail hated the ticks on my dog but shes protected there was no one up there and some trails ate hard to go through due to the plants but if you stay on the Hollister trail you'll be fine
