We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Osgood Hill Trails yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Osgood Hill Trails
“Nice wide trails in some sections, more traditional hiking trails on the slopes, great view of tge lake at the top and can watch the planes go by.”
“Trails are not clearly marked but it's hard to get lost.”
We did 3 miles in 1.75 hours. Mostly wide trails with several boardwalks. The trails are marked but could use more markers. The bugs weren't bad at all. We ran into a few people walking dogs. Lots of muddy areas and downed trees blocking the trail due to a severe storm that passed by yesterday.
Trails are not clearly marked but it's hard to get lost. Good views and some spots can be a bit challenging for amateur hikers. Definitely bring bug spray.
The views are nice! Excellent place to walk your pup and let them cool off at the lake. The walk I would rate a moderate walk because of the hills.
A hike through these grounds feels a world away from daily life - and it's right in our backyard.
