Confirmed from Stevens-Coolidge House & Gardens' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Beautiful garden with a historic house where kids can interact with reindeer (at Christmastime at least) and punch cards.

Love these gardens for a little, beautiful getaway. We came during tulip season and it's absolutely stunning! Super helpful staff. Small enough to walk around in less than an hour, but there are a couple of picnic tables in case you want to linger for a while.

From the moment you step onto the property, your breath will be taken. Vibrant and beautiful flowers of various species, calm and relaxing walking trails, and clean restrooms. The gardens are child-friendly. (Pay close attention to the well, Lilly Pad pond, and the Stevens-Coolidge house itself).

Experienced Winter Lights for the first time and I can't wait to go back next year!! But I would honestly want to check out the Gardens when it's not the winter and head up there in the Spring! It'd be great place to walk around and lounge out on the grass fields.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
