Confirmed from Peachwood Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Outdoor area with picnic tables and a playground, plus a public restroom.
What runners say about Peachwood Park
“Walk my dog here a lot, it's a nice and well kept park”
“Small but clean and peaceful Park, just not bathroom.”
Close and convenient. I usually walk through here when I come to Lake forest to visit my mom. Small, but I mean what more can they do.
I live close by, and I've frequented the location since I've moved into the area.. This location's been undergoing nonstop renovations since 2016. At the moment, the field's bisected by a portion that's been effectively fenced off by the city.
Cute small park with playground, table area, water fountain (humans and dogs), and open green space. Not much of a walking path. No bathrooms, but a great little park for an hour!
Nice big gazebo with 4 tables and seating. Nice play area with swings. Decent size park for running or to play with dogs. No restroom.

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
