This place has become a refuge for me after a difficult year, a place to be in nature, with peace and quiet but not a long drive. I first noticed a little sign there that encourages you to enjoy nature and get healthier at the same time but didn't think much of it.
Oh my. This hike was beautiful. I'd say an easy hike but in in the forest everyday. We turned around at Crest trail. Views are absolutely stunning.
Great area for a quick hike. Beautiful scenery. I didn't have much time and this has some short trails as well as longer hikes with great views.
Beautiful place to hike, bike, walk the dogs and enjoy family and friends. There are perfectly spacious picnic and barbecue pavilions. LNT principles apply here in this pristine National Forest.
