Confirmed from Pump House Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Scenic park trails and river views, featuring a Gothic-style pump house being renovated into an events venue.
What runners say about Pump House Park
“It never gets old looking at such an architecturally beautiful and historically significant building when we come here!”
“Quiet enjoyable park with nice views and a few short trails.”
Cool little park to check out. They're currently renovating the Pump House so it looks very rundown right now, but once it's finished they plan to use it in the same way it was used before, to host dancing parties and events. I'm sure it'll take a couple years, but it will look great once it's done.
This is our go to, favorite spot in town to step away into nature!! We went swimming here often during the summer, but have lately just been enjoying walking the trails with the fall colors! Very quiet and peaceful. When in season, keep an eye out for paw paw and passion fruit, both are a delicious treat to forage!
Very cool place. Was very happy to have been able to take a tour. I have been wanting to for years and it was even neater than I expected. The park itself is also nice. There are trails and beautiful views of the river. I absolutely love going here.
Really pretty little park with cool buildings. This park is more for sitting and looking, but there are trails nearby and the Boulevard Toll Bridge is right by the parking lot, and has a nice walkway.

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
