how does one review a trailhead? It exists and it’s easy to access and goes up the mountain so I guess four stars? The trail itself veers to the left and then begins a steep climb uphill from there. This is a pretty steep and technical/challenging trail.
Fabulous view on top, very step, need proper shoes, dog friendly, not shaded, less than 1.5 miles! Strongly recommend
Can be a little challenging at a couple sections due loose gravels coupled with steep slope. Hiking poles highly recommended especially for downhill.
Difficult hike for most because this trail is steep and slippery at times. Quiet area and trail that ends at the station, unless you go down a different trail. When you get to the top, look back to remember which trail you came up because there are a few trail options when you go back down.
