Confirmed from RV Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about RV Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (619 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 10 mentions

“My favourite scene had to be nearing the end, with the light-up tunnel that encompassed our entire vehicle in a beautiful array of lights.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“BLORA Campground is a beautiful park with amazing lake views and a peaceful, quiet atmosphere.”

Took the family to BLORA to see the Christmas lights. This has been a tradition for the family since we moved here five years ago. Each year is better than the last. They even have an AM station you can turn to and listen to Christmas music while you drive and see the lights.

★★★★★ — Travis , Dec 2021

I have had my RV here several times now. The staff in the office are great. They are always ready to assist you. If its your first time here with an RV pull in over by the propane tanks and walk in the office to register.

5 miles of nice displays. The kids loved the light shows. Great set up! (Was a bit surprised it went up to $20 a car)

★★★★☆ — Nancy , Dec 2022

BLORA Campground is a beautiful park with amazing lake views and a peaceful, quiet atmosphere. There are four different campgrounds around the lake—we stayed in Deer Run, just down the hill. The sites are well spread out with plenty of foliage between them, offering a nice level of privacy.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
