Blessed to call this my home state park. Has trails for everybody. From easy kid friendly walks with dogs to steep sand dune inclines you can easily spend a whole day here. Bring a lunch and make it a day or do a hike and get back out. Tons of acres to explore
It’s a 0.75 mile hike to the beach and a wagon does not work well on this trial so pack accordingly! We love this beach though because it’s rarely crowded. We usually go in the morning and pack a lunch and get most of the beach to ourselves!
Loved the short trails to the beach, sand dunes, very well kept and clean park. The bathrooms were pretty decent. My youngest is five and was able to handle the walk. Moderate hike with some hills.
Walked the south south loop, up the beach, back to the parking lot on the beach trail. Love this place. 4.5 miles, great walk.
