This was a beautiful trail. The entire length was paved and perfectly smooth. We enjoyed the Spanish moss draped trees along the entire. We road off the end of the trail and ventured into Port Royal and road through the small downtown area. The entire length of the trail is just a bit over 22 miles. Enjoy.
Safe parking with easy access to northern trailhead. The north section has many bends and curves. The central and south end is fairly straight. All of it is smooth and flat. Many road crossings but most are quiet streets. A tad monotonous and very relaxing.
Pleasant bike ride, busy because it was Sunday. The entire trail was enjoyable, but once you pass the downtown area there are no more water sources or restrooms and it’s clear the end of the trail is forgotten.
What a great trail! We rode our bikes and found it to be nice and would have been quiet except on the day we rode, there was an air show going on at the Marine Corps.
