Confirmed from Three Falls Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“The trail is relatively short and starts as an easy walk to the first falls.”

The proximity of the park/trail to the city makes it a popular destination. There is space for about 8 cars at the trail entrance. Only three cars were there when we arrived. The trail is relatively short and starts as an easy walk to the first falls. The first fall is also the most interesting.

Pretty cool place to walk the dog and check out the river. I bet it is awesome to check out in the summer and do some swimming.

A nice park away from the main roads. Bathroom are well kept. The playground has lots of stuff to climb but, it only 2 slide. Not a lot of shade and the playground. Probably best to go early morning before the sun come over the mountains. Has shade over the picnic bench. Alos it is next to a trail head.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
