We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of West Knoll Trail yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about West Knoll Trail
“A great and beautiful overlook of the Virgin River.”
Great place to hike. Close to Hurricane. Plenty of different trails with some challenging climbs if you choose. A great and beautiful overlook of the Virgin River.
Stunning view at the top! This loop is only about 2 miles from parking. Easy run or hike, wide trail for most of it. Super rad to run on a previous volcano.
Beautiful hiking trail. From the top, great view of the Virgin River gorge, and the Sugar Loaf hill.
This is such a crazy peaceful place. Nice short easy hike. Good spot to see sun set behind the hills. So close to highway and town, yet far away from most noise.
