Confirmed from Tucquan Glen & Pyfer Nature Preserves' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Tucquan Glen & Pyfer Nature Preserves
“WARNING: Love this beautiful nature preserve!”
This was worth making a stop here from my visit in the Lancaster area. You have a few hiking trails to explore and the very nuce sights of the River with the water flowing down stream. You see from midsize to small waterfalls that added a delightful treat to the eyes to see God's beauty.
A great place to hike... Some of the trails can be a bit challenging for some hikers... But the stream and all the dozens of small water falls are well worth the hike! Bring some water and good hiking boots... Lots of rock, slippery tree roots and leaves to contend with...
An amazing place to go for a quick or long hike! The trails could be a little confusing if you don't look at the map first, but it is a magical place! I recommend taking the orange trail, it will take you to a hidden stream.
WARNING: Love this beautiful nature preserve! One big downfall, NO PARKING... had to walk around 3 miles from House Rock on a trail to get here, lots of ups and downs... then had to walk back to house rock. Didn't know this until I got here...
