I was running and passing by hundred times before, but never entered. So nice that I finally did! Lovely place! And it is so different from any other parks that I've seen. I feel the atmosphere of fairytale and mystery in there - like a sort of Narnia.
Pretty awesome spot, a cool and green getaway. Hike, chill or exercise. It's unfortunate that this place has turned into a dog park. The city really needs to manage this park better. It should be utilized for picnics, hanging out, meditating and yoga ...
This was a cool trail. It definitely gets kinda intense at times and there are some advance portions of some trails but nothing TOO serious. Definitely a lot of cool nature scenes and a lot small fields of pretty flowers, small funny statues and little shrines.
Wattles Garden is a small park but it has a trailhead to the peak of Runyon Canyon. The trail is unpaved, steep, and strenuous. Some segments are also quite technical that hikers and runners should use caution. It meets the West Trail of Runyon Canyon.
