This is a tiny piece of suburban paradise. Start a hike at the Right Locke Farm. Enjoy the chickens and goats on the way to the hiking trails. Trails run around two small ponds filled with turtles, ducks, muskrats, dragonflies, red wing black birds and more.
Enjoyable, easy hike in the neighborhood. Multiple trails intersecting each other. There's ruins of an old house and a rusted frame of an old car (allegedly a 1952 Packard). There's a treeless summit and a couple of ponds and streams.
Very nice trails, some elevation possible, couple of excellent ponds. Limited parking.
A very nice place for a walk. The central feature of this park is a pond that is surrounded by hills. The path is not too busy, but you will meet people with dogs. (Be sure and bring some dog treats because once given food the dogs are delightful nincompoops who are glad to spend some time with you.
