Confirmed from Willow Farm Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

I love this little park! I go there just for walks with my dog. It is a great option for me when I am running errands in the Target area and want to take my dog for a quick walk. They do have restrooms, but I don't know if they are open year round. They have a picnic area too and a rentable space in the barn.

This park is kind of a hidden gem but once you drive in and see the barn, the atmosphere is off to a great start. Theres plenty of parking, and even several spots in the shade! Super grateful for the amount of shade this park provides in the common areas which has multiple picnic tables and benches.

This is probably my favorite Park in all of Longmont. I passed through this park over a thousand times in the past 10 years to and from work on my bicycle. I also take my dog for a nice peaceful walk on the edge of the park. The people around are friendly kind helpful. Also there is a clean public restroom with sink .

★★★★★ — John , Apr 2022

Willow Farm Park is a great location to bring your family, go for a stroll, enjoy the peace and quiet with mountain views or meet friends for basketball or roller hockey. There is plenty of playground equipment and swings to suit all ages.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 11 mentions

“Only complaint I had was that the bathrooms on site aren’t the cleanest, but I know it’s hard to keep clean being a public use restroom.”

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
