Confirmed from Eagles' Walk's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Hiking area with trails that are also suitable for walking, biking, and fishing.
What runners say about Eagles' Walk
“It's unusually clean throughout the woods there.”
Nice trails made by the Boy Scouts. Follows a creek and has a few different trails. Even my pup enjoyed it. Some spots had a lot of tree roots but it wasn't so bad you couldn't walk, you just had to pay attention. Dog & kid friendly. The parking lot is small however and you might miss it if you're not paying attention.
So I just drove by this place and I have never noticed it before, so I checked it out. I only hiked a half of it bc it was not planned, but the half I saw was well done. I don't know when the scouts made this trail, but it appeared to be recently cleared from spring bloom.
A nice short hike tucked into a place you wouldn't expect. Several off street parking spots available. Easy enough terrain for a 6 year old to get all the way around. Bike friendly, but not stroller friendly. Most of trails are pretty wide, but a few spots would be tight or too uneven for a stroller.
Decent trail. Small but quick. Could be more markers but you won't get lost. One quick loop around.
Trail conditions & character
“There is a small parking lot at the trail head and plenty to see as you make your way along the winding dirt path.”

“It's definitely not stroller friendly, but is easy enough for young children to walk.”

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking — reported by runners
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
