Confirmed from Ewing Young Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Public park featuring disc golf, a BMX track, a dog park, and a hiking trail.
What runners say about Ewing Young Park
“The dirt BMX track is well kept for racing and they rent out a spare bike or two if needed.”
“It's one mile, packed with gorgeous, raw nature and half of it runs along a river.”
“Awesome place for all ages and several areas to enjoy.”
My family and I love this park. I used to come to skatepark as a teen and even though I have not brought a board in years it still looks fun. The disc golf course is well maintained. The walking path is beautiful. The local school takes kindergarten through the path as a field trip and they love it too.
Probably the best park for many miles around. It has one of the best walking and running trails you can get, considering it's in the middle of a town. It's one mile, packed with gorgeous, raw nature and half of it runs along a river. Going on that walk over lunch is a fantastic reset to the day.
This place has EVERYTHING! A skatepark, BMX track, playground, trails and a dog park. Whether you are taking your kids or your fur babies out for the day this is definitely a “one-and-done” place to stop at. The dirt BMX track is well kept for racing and they rent out a spare bike or two if needed.
Great walking path and fantastic disc golf course. Love that everyone here is very polite and friendly. Path around the park is coming along really nice too.
Trail conditions & character
“In addition, the park has disc golf, an RC Car track, a BMX track, a skate park, and a perfect dog park that is divided up for big dogs and small dogs.”
“It's one mile, packed with gorgeous, raw nature and half of it runs along a river.”
“But unfortunately it's missing some things like an actual bathroom (there's port-o-potty's) but the little things to me are what makes it worth it and it's Free.”
“Edit: a couple things that could be improved would be a new playground, and perhaps an update to the parking lot / porta potty area.”
