This short trail was unique and a hidden gem. I had never heard of it and I have lived in this county for most of my life. The parking at both the top and bottom were crowded with cars, and there isn't much for parking. The trail zig zags up a steep hill, ending in a very cool pioneer cemetery.
Nice short trail with a steep incline. The trail is relatively flat up to where the bridge crosses the creek. Somewhat secluded, bicycles welcome. Lots of wild flowers and native plants.
My favorite local trail! I prefer to park at this point as opposed to the Dundee pioneer cemetery, that way the hike is uphill on the way out and downhill on the way back. The creek is beautiful! I’ve seen quite a few local birds including woodpeckers! You can see the vineyards from certain points on the trail.
I really enjoyed this short trail. The location is beautiful and the trail is well kept. The trail has a constant incline which is awesome for your heart and legs. You have several path options for your incline preference. No way to get lost as all paths join and you enter or exit at 2 specified locations.
