What runners say about Sandy Ridge Trail System
Easy ride up on a road and then a little bit of everything on the way down including technical climbs, berms, jumps, rocks, flow, and fun! The tree protected trails were moist - so not a lot of dust. Some of the terrain deep in the trails looked like they were created with a machine! Highly recommended!
I came here to check out a new place and man it was amazing! It has easy access and a big parking lot that even accommodates rvs with long parking and loops. There are also plenty of car and truck parking spots with a restroom house in the middle of the parking lot.
The trails are a lot of fun. They are mostly flow trails with a few technical sections. There are rock gardens, jumps, berms, and roots. It drains water very well, so you can ride it when it is wet. The road to climb to the trails is grueling, but worth it once you get to the top.
Does it look like I’m going slow?! I am! Haha this was my first time mountain biking in the Pacific Northwest. It was really hard to bike up, yes, really hard. There were folks who were much faster than us and are clearly in great shape. We stopped partway up the mountain and hopped on the trail.
