Confirmed from Sherrard Point's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Paved hiking trail leading to a lookout point, offering views of five peaks, including Rainier and Adams.
What runners say about Sherrard Point
“You can see beautiful Mt Food and even Mt Rainier, Mt Adams, Mt Saint Helens✨”
“A very easy walk from the trailhead.”
A most favorite spot for special Celestial happenings. A very easy walk from the trailhead. Views of the Columbia River, Helens, Rainier, Adams, Hood, and Jefferson. Great place for sunset, shooting stars, and Strawberry Moon!
This isn’t your average tourist loop around Multnomah. This is the full send—an all-day vertical grind that reminds you exactly why you hike. If you’re looking for a challenge with big payoffs and even bigger elevation gains, Larch Mountain via Multnomah is for the real ones.
Beautiful drive stunning views. It's a bit of a drive but it's worth it! Once you get on Larch Mt. Road you drive till you get to the Parking lot. Once your there there is an out house, picnic tables and bbq's. To get to the view point take the path to the right of the stairs. It's not a long path but it is up hill.
Absolutely astonishing views! Don’t bother going on a cloudy day, but on a clear day you can see five peaks: Jefferson, Hood, Adams, St Helens, and even Rainier 97 miles away. The road is paved all the way to the parking lot, from which you have a short walk to the viewpoint, or you can hike 7 miles from Multnomah.
