I can’t say enough good things about silver sands Park. A beautiful boardwalk that runs down the shore to several smaller beaches and through the marsh. A beautiful pier to enjoy and many fishing spots. At low tide a sandbar so you can walk over to Charles Island.
Absolutely gorgeous. We strolled along the boardwalk one Friday afternoon in late summer and it couldn’t have been more aww inspiring. The warm breeze, the sun, the sand. There weren’t a lot of people around but there was still some foot traffic and people on bikes.
Great boardwalk! This was a lovely flat walk. The initial boardwalk was a bit lengthy without any benches, but once you got down to the sand, there were definitely benches along the way. I have physical challenges, but I was able to rest on the railing when I needed to until I got down to the sand.
It's such a wonderful and peaceful park. On the walk from the park in lot to the to the sandy area there are beautiful birds singing and flying around. During the low tide, you can actually walk to the little island. There are lots of beautiful shels and tocks through the walk. Appropriate shoes should be worn.
