Confirmed from Tiscornia Park - St. Joseph's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Tiscornia Park - St. Joseph
“Very clean and sandy, i didn't see any weeds.”
“Such a beautiful place and went on a tour and the history of the lighthouse was a great learning experience”
We were on our way home from Holland, Michigan to Middle Tennessee and decided to take a quick stop in Tiscornia Park in St. Joseph to see the lighthouse! It was a blustery, chilly Thursday morning and so hardly anyone was there. We paid $3 to the machine in the parking lot to be able to stay for 1 hour.
Nice park with a beach. There are shelter houses here as well as restroom facilities. I think that the $3 an hour is kind of a steep price. This beach is less busy than Silver Beach, probably because you can get free parking there. It has a nice view of the lighthouse and you can walk out to it from this park.
This is a great beach! Very clean and sandy, i didn't see any weeds. The lighthouse was beautiful, especially at sunset. There is a bathroom and feet washing stand near the kiosk where you pay for parking, it's $10 for the day and you can also pay online or in an app, you need to use your license plate numbers to…
Great beach! Beautiful sand and view of the lighthouse. The hill of sand back up to parking was rough but worth it. The water is also shallow for further distance out than other beaches we went to which my 6 year old liked because it felt like she was further out.

“You DO have to pay for parking, but there is an app you can use, and that way, you can reload it from the beach rather than walk back to the ticket booth to update your ticket.”
“Despite the old-looking door to the bathrooms, the restroom was surprisingly beautiful and clean.”
“It is a challenging walk up spiral staircases and a slight climb on a large metal ladder roughly 10 ish foot.”
“I did include a picture of it because it was very cool and even pretty, lit up at night.”
