Confirmed from Waller Mill Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

A very beautiful park. There is a trail available for those who want to hike or walk around the park. The reservoir has many different places where tourists may take photos. Water is marvelous and very open! You can even rent a kayak! There are large variety of small little animals!

I was visiting Williamsburg for vacation and wanted to take a break for the touristy stuff. This is a very well maintained park. You have to pay $2 to enter, but I didn’t mind since the money goes to the park. I hiked two different trails…both had roots and some inclines, but are well maintained.

Our first visit to this park, and it was GREAT! From the moment we arrived, we saw wildlife everywhere- to the nest of baby birds at the Boathouse where we paid for parking (only$2!!!), to the multiple toads, turtles, snakes and skinks we saw on the Nature Trail.

Absolutely amazing. Beautiful views. Rented kayak for 2 hours with my daughter, very relaxing, was only like $14 and $2 for parking. Staff is very friendly and helpful, clean bathrooms. Nice little playground and bridges with nice views. Trails, store, little library, picnic areas. Def worth the trip.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
