Confirmed from Hidden Valley Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Picturesque setup with picnic & play areas, paved walking path & access to a mountain trail system.
What runners say about Hidden Valley Park
“Trail Review: Bear Canyon Bridge Hike If you’re looking for a great intermediate hike with stunning scenery, the trail to Bear Canyon Bridge is an excellent choice.”
“It’s also great to note that dogs are allowed on leashes for most of the trails, although some sections are clearly marked as no-dog areas.”
Lots of hiking trails that are all connected, but have varying degrees of difficulty, bathrooms that dont smell horrendous, grassy fields, it was a ton of fun and my 6 year old had fun with the hikes my 3 year old did half of one then fell asleep in the carrier
Great parking lot. Very fun running trail for morning time. Nice rollers and any climbing is short lived. Moderate difficulty. 1.5 miles to the suspension bridge. Very narrow in spots. One section of boulders with low clearance near one mile mark. Beautiful view of the canyon and overlooking Hidden Valley CC.
Beautiful park at the base of the mountain. There is a large and small pavilion with lots of picnic tables. There is a playground and public restrooms. Lots of grass and shade! There are hiking trails nearby. We went on a small hike to see the American Flag that is displayed in July.
Anytime is wonderful to walk along the paved path. Walking counter clockwise will give you a better quad workout. Hiking the Shoreline Trail from Hidden Valley Park towards the Suspension Bridge is a 3-mile round trip hike. Be mindful of mountain bikers.
