Confirmed from South Slough National Estuarine Research Reserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

It is a wonderful place to walk and unwind in nature. There are different paths with different durations, the landscape is spectacular and the spaces change as you go through it. Everything is very well maintained and signposted. There are signs that explain what each space has and what animals and plants can be found.
On a rare occasion, I couldn't fish so I visited this place and went for a hike. Beautiful. Easy. Clean. As a woman hiking alone, i felt safe.
