This lighthouse is beautiful and elegant, lighting up the entire area. The scenery here is absolutely stunning and breathtaking. You can walk around the lighthouse and enjoy the gorgeous ocean views, then head down to the beach to explore the tidal pools.
We almost didn't stop "just for another lighthouse" but glad we did! There is an admission fee but USNPS passes can be used. Parking is limited. Restrooms on sight but very basic. The lighthouse is cool but the views are awesome. Walk down to the beach/water and you will likely see seals, birds, and other wildlife.
A fantastic experience! I parked at the lighthouse parking and went to the information centre and got a free poster. The staff were super friendly and informative. The walk along the cliffside was beautiful and I was able to see whales off in the distance as well as plenty of sea birds.
We got lucky with a warm and sunny day on the Oregon coast. The lighthouse is beautiful and was open for a few hours while we were there. I highly recommend taking a tour through the interpretive center before heading up to the lighthouse.
